When the deployment is under 250 devices, single-country, and you can accept a single carrier's coverage, buy a physical M2M SIM from catalog pricing. When the deployment has more than 500 endpoints, crosses two or more countries, or needs remote operator switching, require a project quote for eSIM profiles, CMP platform, and API integration.
When you need a CMP API to push APN profiles automatically, catalog pricing still works if the CSP exposes a self-service API.
